The Rankul gold project is located in the Pamir Mountains near the Tajikistan Chinese border at an altitude of 4,000 metres. Early stage exploration from the Soviet era identified the potential for approximately 6.9 million oz of hard rock gold and an alluvial resource in excess of 1,200 kilos of gold (37,000oz - approx. $32million).

The Rankul project would provide the Company with an exciting exploration and mining opportunity that will involve the simultaneous operating of two projects, Alluvial Gold Exploration and Recovery, and Hard Rock Gold Exploration.

To work at an altitude of 4,000metres requires careful planning and developing of the technical procedures that will enable mining operations to be carried out for twelve months of the year. The management of Saddleback are confident that they have the experience and skills required to achieve the Company’s objective to develop Rankul to its fullest possible potential.
